It’s amazing how people you thought you had pegged can completely defy all expectations. My friend Jay and I went to high school together in Edmond, OK, and it’s no secret that we weren’t friends at the time.
But somehow when you let 10 years pass and meet someone with fresh eyes, they can blow you away. Jay arranged and conducted this piece, a mashup of the Mad Men theme song and Nature Boy by David Bowie. Take just 2 minutes to check this out, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

What a difference a day makes
My brother left for the Peace Corps this morning and flies to Ukraine tomorrow night. It will take him 13 hours to get there.
And 2 years to come back.

i remember electrocuting myself, my swimming teacher, my first football game. i remember pre-school, knocking out my front teeth, running into the middle of a parade in disney world.
and i remember moving from florida to oklahoma when i was six years old.
